During last week's broadcast of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics, NBC set up a fun Twitter tracker for the mega global winter sports event. It represents tweets about each sport in a visual interface.
The Olympic Twitter Tracker, developed by Stamen Design, is an amusing addition to the standard tweet stream, which was provided by NBC as well. The feature was presented on the Twitter bog a couple weeks ago, and Twitter posted a video demo (below).
Lindsey Vonn lived up to expectations and won the Olympic downhill Wednesday, ahead of childhood rival and American teammate Julia Mancuso. Vonn is the first American skier to win the most important event in skiing beating the dominance of the European women. USA go 1-2 with a Gold and Silver medal!
Ahead of the 2010 Winter Olympics, the gold medal favorite in alpine skiing, Lindsey Vonn, hit the slopes with the reporter Bill Pennington from the New York Times. She spoke about crashing, recovery and being the fastest woman on the mountain.
Lindsey Vonn is not only hot, she is a skiing athletic beast!!! What a champion. A couple days ago she revealed to the world press that is currently injured from a bad training fall a couple weeks ago, but I think she will "shake it off" and win at least one gold medal for the U.S Ski Team at the Vancouver Winter Olympic 2010 Games.
Lindsey Vonn becomes the first American woman ever to win two overall world cup crowns after capturing her eighth downhill race of the season and second downhill title in Are, Sweden in March 2009. Lindsey Vonn is the greatest female ski racers United States has ever produced. She is currently the best woman skier in the world!
Go Lindsey! Go U.S. Men's and Women's Olympic Ski Racing Team at the Vancouver Winter Olympic 2010 Games!!!
Here is the sexy Sports Illustrated video of hot 25 year old American ski racer Lindsey Vonn. Lindsey Vonn is not only a pretty face but she is also a champion. Vonn is in fact the 2008 and current 2009 Overall World Cup Ski Racing Champion - the best female skier in the world! She is like the Michael Phelps of ski racing but a lot better looking and she actually has a personality (Phelps doesn't). Baring any last minute injuries, Vonn is favorite to win 3 gold medals at the Vancouver Winter Olympic 2010 Games in British Colombia, Canada. She is overwhelming favorite to win the Women's Downhill - "Queen of the Mountain".

The fastest human being ever, 22 year old Usain Bolt of Jamaica did the impossible again. He surpassed his herculean & cocky performance of last year's 100 Meter world record of the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics yesterday, August 16, 2009, at the World Championships!
According to respected sports doctors and physiologist, Usain Bolt is a physical, anatomical, and physiological "Phenomenon" because of his almost 6'6'' height (197 centimeters). Before Bolt's Summer Olympics achievement last year, it was an accepted fact that human beings above 6'5'' (195- 1/2 CM) are physiologically incapable of producing the best times in the sprint races (60, 100, 200, & 400 meters).
Well, Bolt has dumbfounded the scientific community and sporting world again. Look at what he did yesterday at the World Track & Field Championships in Berlin, Germany. In the fastest 100 Meter field in history, which included American record holder Tyson Gay and fellow Jamaican Asafa Powell (the former Fastest Human Ever), Bolt annihilated the competition!!!
Look in HD video, Usain "Lightening" Bolt is an athletic god among mere humans. He really is ..............SUPERMAN!!!
