In addition to being a former beauty pageant champion and international model, Marina Mora is now a successful business woman in Lima with her own modeling agency, beauty pageant event/gala production firm, and glamour/womens magazine owner called Marina (see picture below).
Miss Peru, along with Miss Venezuela and Miss Ecuador, is one of the favorites to win Miss World 2008 in Dec in South Africa. In this pageant, Miss Mexico is also a very strong contestant as well. Just like the smaller Miss Universe pageant (American/Donald Trump owned), the South American chicas are the overwhelming favorites to win the Miss World (English owned) title this year, again.
Yeah, South American girls win the Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss International practically every year....
