Anyhow, this video was first broadcast on Soviet television in 1976 and song by Russian baritone singer Eduard Khil.  After retiring from a singing career, Khil slowly faded into obscurity in his later years.  In 2010, Khil reclaimed the spotlight when he became the subject of the viral "Trololo" Internet meme on YouTube, featuring a 1976 video of a vocalized version of the song, "I Am Glad I'm Finally Going Home".

Since first uploaded on the net on November 26, 2009; this video has been viewed by over 4,139,000 + times and over 10,000,000 times through dozens of similar videos showing the same 1976 performance.

Chinese Man Throws Bicycle At Thieves On Scooter!

Two thieves on a motor-scooter flew by and snatched a woman's purse on a street in Wenzhou, China. Surveillance video shows a man riding a bicycle.  As he was passing by the front of a hotel near where the thievery happened, he stopped, calmly got off his bicycle, picked it up, and then threw it at the thieves. The bicycle hit them, they lost control, and crashed to the ground.

Don't you just love the old 1974 pop tune "Kung Fu Fighting" by Carl Douglas.

Bride And Groom Update Relationship Status At Wedding On Twitter!

We've seen plenty of Twittered marriage proposals, but a recent video posted to YouTube takes the cake for the most unconventional Twitter and Facebook updates.

During his wedding ceremony, Dana Hanna whipped out his mobile device and not only changed his relationship status to married on Facebook, but also sent out a tweet announcing that the couple had become man and wife.

Dana writes on his You Tube Page:

"This was just done to be funny - we really don't Facebook THAT often :).

I have a lot of family scattered around the country and we all use Facebook a lot to keep in touch. So when Tracy and I were engaged, most of my family found out via Facebook because we updated our statuses.

I surprised not only my guests, but also Tracy by pulling out my phone and posting on Facebook and Twitter from the altar during out wedding.

I had her phone ready in my pocket, so when she asked for it I could hand it to her. No one knew about this except the minister, and myself."
