Retouched a little from a vlogger in Eastern Europe (Russia?), here is that unforgettable final scene of the 1990 classic "Ghost" between Patrick Swayze and actress Demi Moore. Ghost is one of the most memorable movies of the last 20 years.
A few pictures of Patrick Swayze in "Ghost" (1990) opposite Demi Moore and co-staring Whoopi Goldberg. A couple shots of Swayze in 2008:
This video features a newly developed robotic cop patrolling the streets of Johannesburg, South Africa?
Well, not really.
This
is actually a specific corporate video created by Neill Blomkamp of The
Embassy Digital Effects Inc. for a fictional company named Tetra Vaal - shows a robot cop policing the streets of a Johannesburg township.
The
effects go beyond the extraordinary (even the robot’s relaxed-alert cop
posture is stunningly lifelike), and the combination of the
documentary-style footage and computer-generated images is convincing
enough that you might find yourself wondering if you were on vacation
during the announcement that robots are indeed now among us. A little
scary? Definitely. An amazing video? No question.
It is one of the best digital effects that I've seen in a long time.
Yup, the worst movie fight scene ever has to be the 1960's Star Trek classic episode when Captain Kirk fights theGorn. It maybe very bad, but it sure was intense! Yeah, Kirk was awesome alright....

Even though Farrah Fawcett was in "Charlie's Angels" for only one season (the first year of the TV show), she was the #1 sex symbol of the 1970s in the United States. Here is the 1970s most famous and one of the 20th century's top selling pin-up posters in the world.
Farrah Fawcett, may you rest in peace. For those of us who grow up in the late 70s in the United States, Farrah Fawcett will always be our #1 Angel.....
Here are Dear John Witherspoon's views about social networking site Myspace. For that matter, Facebook, Bebo, and others like it will probably fall in the same gutter league as Myspace in time.
Yeah, Facebook is now populated by "Old People" that upload family pictures that no one in the whole world wants to see (except themselves) and narcissistic attention seeking people. (Hey people, having 100s of photos and dozen of albums of yourself in FB is fine. But you don't need to put a 20 picture album of yourself everyday of the week for 3 months straight! Girls, you are not that hot, interesting, or famous......Sheeesh!!)
All the cool kids, celebrities, and web/software professionals are on Twitter, they understand it and use it effectively. They understand it.
Now, listen to uncle John Witherspoon's Myspace views.
The holidays are finally over — nostalgic yet? If so, check outBetaMaXmas: The site has
all the Christmas specials you missed last month — and more than a few shows you haven’t seen since, well, the heyday of Betamax.
Built by a San Francisco designer named Jeffery Bennett, the archive
collects classic holiday clips from the 1970s and ’80s — including a
Christmas episode of The Facts of Life (starring a young George Clooney), a special that features Sesame Street characters on ice, and the He-Man and She-Ra Christmas Special. Better yet, the videos appear on an old-fashioned, rabbit-eared TV set in front of a wood-paneled backdrop — and in true UHF
fashion, the image is intermittently fuzzy. So wipe your seasonal depression away, and make merry — better late than never.
"Quantum of Solace" is the 22nd edition of EON Productions and Ian Fleming's British secret agent - 007 James Bond. This current edition showcases exotic locations in Italy, Baja California Mexico, Panama, and Austria. But almost half the movie was shot at Atacama in Northern Chile, South America (not in Bolivia as the movie indicates). Atacama is a large desert between Peru, Chile, and Boliva - it is the driest desert in the world, it has never rained in recorded human history!!!
The movie was originally scheduled to have spectacular scenes filmed at the ancient Inca capital of Cuzco, Peru. But due to bad weather this past March, the Cuzco filming were canceled.
Quantum of Solace has a predominantly South American theme in film locations, storyline, and music with three Peruvian fusion songs in the movie's soundtrack.
English actor Daniel Craig, the current James Bond, speaks a little Spanish and has indicated in a recent interview with an Argentine newspaper that he wants to visit Peru.

From Peru - The record/album of Jaime Cuadra in the new James Bond movie. "Desde Peru - EL Disco De Jaime Cuadra En Nuevo La Pelicula De James Bond."
Description of the video below: "Cholo Soy", Peruvian Waltz Chill Out. From the Quechua of Peru, this is a popular song in Peru and the rest of South America about being "Cholo" which expresses a strong sense of cultural pride among people who are predominantly of indigenous stock or race in South America, especially the Andean countries.
Jaime Cuadra and his music have been a huge sensation in Peru since 2006, when he released "Cholo Soy," which mixed creole music, vals (waltz, Peruvian style), festejo (Afro Peruvian) and marinera (Northern Peru & Lima-based music) with electronic chillout tracks.
Jaime Cuadra (born in Lima, Peru on November 26, 1970) musician, producer and Peruvian audiovisual communicator. In October 2008, 3 songs from his album Cholo Soy, Peruvian Waltz Chill Out, were included in the James Bond movie Quantum of Solace.
Hollywood legend Paul Newman (1925 - 2008) past a way last Friday, Sept 26th. Here are some very interesting video clips of one of the greatest movie actors of the last 55 years. He was married twice, first with Jackie Witte (1949 - 1958), and then with accomplished Hollywood actress Joanna Woodward (1958 - 2008). He was married to Woodward for 50 years, in Hollywood!!!
Here is a very rare clip of 30 year old Paul Newman in a 1955 Hollywood screen test for "East of Eden" with a very young James Dean.
