Incredible footage of a Chilean dog saving his friend on a dangerous and busy highway in Santiago, Chile, South America.
Update - Castellano (South American Spanish) to English translation:
"These images seen from the surveillance cameras show a very common situation with our overpopulated highways. It is normal for us to see dogs run over. In the video, we can see this dog fighting for his life because he was run over by the vehicle.
"What is very touching is to see the very heroic actions of this other dog who is trying to pull him to the side of the highway. We are going to keep seeing things like this until we find a solution to the dogs living on the streets."
It seems the truth of this story has been lost in the amount of press its received, due to this it has now been unconfirmed on the dog surviving.
A newspaper reader from Chile said this:
"I read about this video on the paper yesterday and it said the dog that was ran over by the car didn't make it through. It also said that a lot of people called the highway emergency number wanting to adopt the hero dog, but it was left on a street near Costanera and never found again."
NOTE: This was first and original video that was uploaded to Youtube that started the popularity for this amazing puppy.

"Quantum of Solace" is the 22nd edition of EON Productions and Ian Fleming's British secret agent - 007 James Bond. This current edition showcases exotic locations in Italy, Baja California Mexico, Panama, and Austria. But almost half the movie was shot at Atacama in Northern Chile, South America (not in Bolivia as the movie indicates). Atacama is a large desert between Peru, Chile, and Boliva - it is the driest desert in the world, it has never rained in recorded human history!!!
The movie was originally scheduled to have spectacular scenes filmed at the ancient Inca capital of Cuzco, Peru. But due to bad weather this past March, the Cuzco filming were canceled.
Quantum of Solace has a predominantly South American theme in film locations, storyline, and music with three Peruvian fusion songs in the movie's soundtrack.
English actor Daniel Craig, the current James Bond, speaks a little Spanish and has indicated in a recent interview with an Argentine newspaper that he wants to visit Peru.

From Peru - The record/album of Jaime Cuadra in the new James Bond movie. "Desde Peru - EL Disco De Jaime Cuadra En Nuevo La Pelicula De James Bond."
Description of the video below: "Cholo Soy", Peruvian Waltz Chill Out. From the Quechua of Peru, this is a popular song in Peru and the rest of South America about being "Cholo" which expresses a strong sense of cultural pride among people who are predominantly of indigenous stock or race in South America, especially the Andean countries.
Jaime Cuadra and his music have been a huge sensation in Peru since 2006, when he released "Cholo Soy," which mixed creole music, vals (waltz, Peruvian style), festejo (Afro Peruvian) and marinera (Northern Peru & Lima-based music) with electronic chillout tracks.
Jaime Cuadra (born in Lima, Peru on November 26, 1970) musician, producer and Peruvian audiovisual communicator. In October 2008, 3 songs from his album Cholo Soy, Peruvian Waltz Chill Out, were included in the James Bond movie Quantum of Solace.
