Here is the official press conference welcoming footballer Cristiano Ronaldo to La Casa Blanca (the White House) del Estadio Santiago Bernabeu de Real Madrid.  Images are courtesy of Madrid TV on July 6, 2009.  

The world's most expensive and highest paid team athlete in history, in any team sport; was given the 2nd biggest player reception in history earlier that day in front of 80,000 spectators at the Bernabeu.  (The world record is still held by Argentine great Diego Maradona when 89,000 spectators attended his reception for Napoli of Italy in 1984.)

As you can see from these video images, Christiano Ronaldo displayed his customary extreme confidence and a little nervousness in the press conference.  Most of the interview is in Castellano (Castillian Spanish), but he speaks English as well due to his six years at Manchester United, England.

Argentina's #1 Son As A 5 Year Old Child Genius - Leo Messi!

What a match it was last night in Rome, Italy - F.C. Barcelona vs Manchester United.  Barca is now champion of all Europe and 21 year old Argentine Leo Messi is the best player in the world today.

But look at this.....  

Just like his predecessor Argentina's Diego Maradona, the best player in world football history, Lionel Messi was born to play football.  After viewing these incredible images from Barca TV, it is very clear that that Messi was a footballing child prodigy.

Hey Footballers,

I just got this a few hours ago.  The video clips of the arrival, signing, presentation, and interview of former 2-Time FIFA World Footballer of the Year winner Ronaldinho of Brazil to AC Milan in Italy.  He just left FC Barcelona after 5-years with the Spanish giant.  He will join his fellow Brazilian National/World Cup team members Kaka and Pato to form a formidable forward line for the mighty "Rossoneri" of AC Milan at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza this coming season in Europe!

This is definitely world football's transfer of the year.  AC Milan got Ronaldinho cheap on the transfer fee since Barcelona sold him too low.  But Ronaldinho will be making BANK!  

Economic lesson:  This is not Major League Baseball or big time sports in the United States where player trades are commonplace.  Not in world football.  The global football clubs must pay out millions of dollars in transfer fees and buyout clauses just to acquire the rights to have a player.  Only the rights.  They must fork out more money for the players guarantee salary, bonus, and incentives.  They also need to give up the players image rights for the games global stars.

Barcelona currently has their sights set very high for their young 20-year old Argentine prodigy - Lionel Messi.  The best footballer in the world today!!!
