Final Of The Copa Libertadores In Brazil - Cruzeiro (Bra) vs Estudiantes LP (Arg)!

Hey footballers,

Yesterday was the 2nd leg and final of the Santander Copa Libertadores de America (club championship of all the Americas) at the giant Mineirao in Belo Horizonte, Brasil between last years Brazilian champion Cruzeiro Esporte clube and and Argentine champion Estudiantes de La Plata.

Last week In the 1st leg at La Plata, Argentina; the score was: Cruzeiro 0, Estudiantes 0.

Estudiantes, led by 34 year old master & world class footballer Juan Sebastian Veron and a team of 20 and 21 year old players, met Cruzeiro deep in hostile and enemy territory in the Mineirao.

By the looks of the video below, Barcelona FC of Spain (current European Champions League winner) is going to have a tougher time with the Copa Liberadores winner than it had with Manchester United in their match in late May.  Barcelona will face the Copa Libertadores champion in December, 2009 for the World Club Championship.

Cruzeiro vs Estudiantes

The tall and powerful Argentine midfielder has played at some of the world's biggest and best clubs in his long career like Estudiantes (Argentina), Boca Juniors (Argentina), Lazio (Italy), Inter (Italy), Parma (Italy), Manchester United (England), and Chelsea (England).  He returned back to his home town of La Plata, Argentina to finish his stellar career, and do a final push to be included among Argentina's 23 selected player for next years FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
